Nives Vincic began her artistic journey at the age of 16, developing an early sensibility to photography and an instinctive attraction to objects of quiet intrigue that naturally captured her eye. With a foundation in oil painting, she approaches photography through a painterly lens, translating texture, composition, and atmosphere into carefully composed images. Her work places strong emphasis on visual aesthetics, conceived not only to tell a story but also to live beautifully within people’s homes, enhancing interiors and engaging in dialogue with the spaces in which it is displayed. Her debut exhibition, THREADS, traces her journey through India, exploring narratives of connection, memory and moments shaped through time and space. Through this body of work, Vincic weaves artistic expression with social purpose, supporting communities in need. A significant portion of the exhibition’s proceeds is donated to charities that aid communal areas across India, allowing the work to extend beyond art and contribute to meaningful change.
